My old webpage, Dworin.com, was powered by PostNuke, a PHP based content management system. At the time, PostNuke generated a single title for all pages on a site, making it difficult for search engines to properly index pages, and for users to identify their location on a site. To correct this, Joerg Napp created a Title Hack for PostNuke that allowed dynamic titling.

In late 2001, I grew frustrated with available instant messaging software, which was too resource intensive for the older machines I was working on. To solve this problem, I created SteakIM, which I released as an open source project in 2003. SteakIM began as a light-weight application based on AOL's TOC protocol, allowing interoperability with the existing AOL network.
